How do I cancel a purchase?
Provided they give plenty of notice, both Buyers and Sellers can cancel purchases — here's how to do it.

For Sellers
How do I decline a pending purchase request?
- Head to the ‘Selling’ tab of ‘Transactions’. Click on the relevant textbook and then click ‘Decline’.
How do I cancel a purchase request that I’ve already accepted?
- Email us at [email protected] or message us in the chat icon which is at the bottom right of the website and we can process that for you.
For Buyers
How do I cancel my purchase?
- You can cancel your purchase for yourself if:
-The Seller has not accepted your request
-It is within 3 hours of making your purchase request
To do this, go to the 'Buying' tab of ‘Transactions’ and select the relevant textbook, then click on the "Cancel" button.
- If you are outside these cancellation parameters, please email [email protected] or message us in the chat button which is at the bottom of the website and we will help you process this.
Other:
- If a Seller cancels a purchase request, you’ll be notified and fully reimbursed, and we will do all we can to help you find an alternative textbook. If you weren't expecting the purchase to be canceled, let us know as soon as possible.
- If a Seller accepts the purchase request but is then unable to reach an agreement with the Buyer for delivery, then Reusly reserves the right to cancel the purchase automatically.
